Well here it is mid-February in Middle Tennessee and the weather is keeping everyone guessing.
We have had comfortable warm days and cold wet days. Bees are out, weeds are growing and trees are starting early stages of leaving. While all of this is happening there is the reality of the calendar. It is after all, February.
We are leaning toward doing some early spring activity on the farm in the near future but don’t want to get ahead of ourselves. We’ll keep an eye on mother natures signals and take our queue from her.
The hens are laying nicely, and we are pleased to say we are supplying some great tasting eggs to folks. We are working on a project here and hopefully we will have some news to report in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
